Opp. B.R. Ambedkar Govt. College, Ambala Road, Kaithal – 136027, Haryana
The campus was built for this school and is finished. Every room is air-conditioned.
An air-conditioned room for Maths and Science, with experienced teachers. A child brings the question he or she is stuck on and leaves with the answer. Extra classes run here in the evening, so no child has to go to a tuition centre after school.
Maths and Science · evening classesThree separate labs, fitted out to international standard.
Children handle the shapes and models instead of only writing about them.
A studio of professional standard. Children write, record and present. The confidence they gain at the microphone shows in the classroom too.
Personality developmentThe AIR Lab, next to a computer lab with i5 machines.
Children practise listening, pronunciation and conversation here.
More than 5,000 books, and e-journals.
Interactive panel boards in every classroom.
Teaching is recorded as it happens, and what is recorded reaches the parent the same day.
Every teacher writes the plan for a lesson before teaching it. The school checks the cover class by class and subject by subject, so every lesson is planned before it is taught.
What was done in class and what has been given for home reaches the parent’s phone as soon as the teacher puts it up. A class diary also goes out every day.
Anything noted about a child’s behaviour goes on that child’s record and shows with the day’s diary. Parents hear about it the same day, not weeks later.
Notebooks are checked on a fixed schedule and every check is recorded. No subject is left unchecked for weeks.
Every test is entered. Parents get a progress record for the whole session, with the class average next to the child’s own marks.
Taken every morning. Parents can see it the same day.
Built to international standard.
Seven-layer surfaceA full synthetic rink, used in the morning activity hour and after school.
Four-layer syntheticCoached sessions, class by class.
With a yoga and gymnastics centre next to it.

Seats 400 childrenThree separate rooms, so three groups can practise at the same time.
Every school day starts with an hour of activity, from 8 to 9, before lessons begin. Trained coaches take these sessions.
When a child leaves the classroom, the teacher records it. If the child has not come back in five minutes, the staff are told at once and the child is found. Every exit and return is timed and kept on record.
The whole fleet, on every route.
One at each door, so no child gets on or off unseen.
Cleaning and safety checks are recorded by QR code through the day. The whole staff takes part.
Every child who enters or leaves the campus is recorded at the gate.
Every member of the non-teaching staff is police verified and medically examined before joining. That covers drivers, conductors, housekeeping and security.
Name, reason, photograph and time. A child is handed over only to a person the parent has named.
A nurse is on the campus all through the school day, with a doctor on call. Every visit is written down as it happens: when the child came in, what was found, what was given, and whether the child went back to class or was sent home. After school closes the parent gets a letter about that visit. Nothing is left for the child to carry home and forget.
Nurse on the campus · doctor on callTime in, treatment, result and time back in class. If a child comes again and again we notice it, and we show the parent the whole picture instead of separate notes.
Classrooms, labs and halls.
Washrooms are checked through the day and every check is recorded.
The gate, the buses, the classrooms, the medical room and every cleaning round go into one system, built for this school. A child who comes through the gate at 7.52 is on the register at 7.52. Nothing waits for the end of the month, and nothing is written twice.
Built for Vedashree · used every dayEach child is marked in and out at the gate, with the time and the name of the person who collected them.
Everyone who comes to the gate is recorded with a photograph. The person they have come to see is told at once.
A child can leave early only with a pass the school has approved. The pass is scanned at the gate and cannot be used twice.
When a child leaves the classroom the teacher records it, and the time away runs on the screen. One boy and one girl at a time.
If someone else is collecting the child, the parent sends the name and photograph first, and the gate checks it.
At any moment the office can see who is on the campus, children and staff.
You can see every bus on the map in the morning round and the afternoon round.
The conductor marks each child on to the bus and off it. If a child did not board, we know at once.
We move the children stop by stop to another bus. The office and the conductor see the same list.
Each bus is checked before it leaves. The meter reading, the fuel and the papers are recorded.
If a bus leaves at the wrong time, or comes in late, the Principal and the transport in-charge are told the same minute.
Seventeen routes and a hundred and twenty stops. Each stop has its own fare.
Every washroom, corridor and room has a code on it. Staff scan it on a fixed schedule and answer the checklist point by point.
A guard walks the campus before school opens and after the last child has gone. The keys are signed for.
A problem marked on a round reaches the supervisor in half an hour and the Principal in an hour.
Every question a parent raises gets a reference number. It is closed only when the parent says it has been settled.
Class teachers call every family in turn, and what was said goes on the child’s record.
Every letter in and out of the school is entered, with where it has reached.
Prepared, signed and handed over against a record, so a leaving certificate is never lost.
Work given to a member of staff is followed up until the day it is finished.
One page holds the child’s family, address, transport, documents, certificates, gate record and activities.
A parent signs in with the email address on the child’s record and sees that child only. If you have two children here, you see both side by side. There is no charge, and it is open to every family on the roll.
Sign in with Google · one child, one parentClasswork and homework appear as the teacher puts them up, not at the end of the day.
Open any date in the session from the calendar, so a week missed through illness can be made up.
Every test of the session on one screen, with the class average and the child’s position beside it.
Family, address, transport, government numbers and photographs, exactly as the school holds them.
The school puts a file on the phone and it is there in seconds. Nothing depends on a child carrying a paper home.
Ask for an early leave, or name the person who will collect the child, from the phone.
One tap tells the gate that you are on the way, so the child is not left waiting.
If a child goes to the medical room, the parent gets the details after school closes.
The thought, the sentence and the words of the day, in English and Hindi, the same as in the printed diary.
